These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dread Love website (the “Site”) and any purchases made through it. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. General

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. We may update product details, availability, and pricing at any time without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory limitations.

2. Orders & Payment

When you place an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. Payment must be authorized at checkout. Once an order is confirmed, it may not be changed or canceled unless we confirm in writing that we are able to do so.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are packed and shipped once per week. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing before shipment. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Shipping timelines may be affected by carrier delays, service disruptions, customs processing (for cross-border shipments), weather, or other factors outside our control. Dread Love is not responsible for delays once an order has been handed off to the carrier.

4. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the personal and hygienic nature of our hair, scalp, and personal care products, all sales are final except in cases of damaged or defective items.

5. Product Use & Disclaimers

Our products are intended for external use only. Please read ingredient information before use and perform a patch test where appropriate. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes and is not medical advice. If you have concerns, sensitivities, allergies, or a medical condition, consult a qualified professional before use.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (including text, images, graphics, logos, and design) is owned by Dread Love or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Privacy

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dread Love will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or products, or from any purchase made through the Site.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dread Love from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and are effective immediately upon posting unless otherwise stated.
