Refund policy
Due to the personal and hygienic nature of our dreadlock products, scalp treatments, and hair care items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges except in cases of damaged or defective items.
Claim Window
If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery. Requests made after this period may not be eligible for review.
What "Delivered" Means
An order is considered delivered when the carrier marks the shipment as Delivered or an equivalent status to the shipping address provided at checkout.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or unusable, we will work with you to resolve the issue.
To submit a claim:
- Email hello@dreadlove.net within 7 days of delivery
- Include your order number
- Provide clear photos showing the issue
- Include photos of the outer packaging, if applicable
Resolutions
If your claim is approved, we may offer one of the following, depending on the situation:
- A replacement
- A refund to the original payment method
- Another appropriate resolution
If a return is required, instructions will be provided. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise approved in writing.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and are typically processed within 5–10 business days.
Final Sale Items
Except for approved damaged or defective claims, all items are non-returnable and non-refundable, including:
- Opened or used products
- Items purchased on sale or with a discount code
We do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, personal preference, or dissatisfaction once a product has been used or opened.
We do not guarantee suitability for individual hair types, preferences, or results.
Dread Love reserves the right to determine eligibility for any claim.
Gift Cards
Digital gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, except where required by law.
