My sincerest gratitude to Dread Love. My appointment with Krista was life-changing, as many people before me have stated, but it can't be emphasized enough. I have had my locs for almost 12 years, and was truly feeling discouraged with the way they looked. once they got to a certain length, they would fall out, and my hair looked so messy that I never truly felt comfortable with the way I looked; but did not want to change the hair that was such a big part of who I have become.
Krista made me feel welcome in her salon from the moment I stepped in. She also went the extra mile to make my dog feel welcome who she was able to host during my appointment as well. She listened to how I felt about my hair and what I wanted from it and gave me tips and guidance on hair care that I desperately needed, as well as suggesting a way to lengthen and even out my locs with extensions. I had expected to leave the appointment feeling a little bit better about my hair; but instead I left with an elated feeling of love for my hair again, something I haven't felt in years.
I cannot wait to make appointments with Dread Love a new part of my self care routine, and to get to chat with the super insightful, down to earth, and amazing woman that Krista is, everytime I go.
